A content filter for your own Android device. Block malware and phishing, trackers, adult content and gambling — everywhere on your phone, on Wi‑Fi and mobile data alike.
Coming soon for Android — currently in development.
Blocks known malware, phishing and other malicious sites before your device can reach them, using continuously updated threat lists.
Blocks the third-party trackers that follow you between apps and websites. Fewer of those requests also means less mobile data spent and less battery burned fetching them.
Adult content and gambling, plus optional gaming, social media and streaming. You pick which lists are on — nothing is enabled until you choose it.
Add any site to a blocklist, or add exceptions to an allowlist when a filter catches something you actually wanted.
Filtering runs on the device itself, so it applies on Wi‑Fi and on mobile data alike — with nothing to set up on your router.
Your filter rules and the protection toggle sit behind a 4‑digit PIN. If you are trying to cut something out of your own browsing, that makes it deliberately awkward to undo in a weak moment.
See how many requests your device made, how many were blocked, and which sites were blocked most often.
Balanced keeps the internet working and notifies you if filtering stops. Strict pauses internet access if filtering cannot be restored, so you are never online unfiltered without knowing.
Android will ask your permission to set up a VPN connection, and Zibfo Shield cannot filter without it. That is the only way an app is allowed to filter what the whole phone requests, rather than just one browser. While it is on, Android shows a small key icon in your status bar.
Zibfo Shield is not a proxy or an anonymity VPN. It does not hide your IP address, change your apparent location, unblock geo‑restricted services, or carry your web pages through our servers.
The technical part, if you want it: when your phone looks up the address behind a site name, Zibfo Shield sends that lookup over an encrypted connection to our filtering servers, which refuse to answer for any name matching a list you have enabled. The connection to a blocked site is therefore never made. Blocking works that way and no other — Zibfo Shield does not read, modify, strip or inject anything inside any other app, and it does not change any app’s code, interface or behaviour.
Zibfo Shield filters the device it is installed on, for the person using that device. It is not a monitoring or surveillance tool, it does not report to anyone else, and it is not intended to be installed on another person’s device.
Zibfo Shield needs a free account, and the site names your device looks up are recorded on our servers for up to 30 days so the activity view can show them back to you. Page contents, messages, photos, passwords and app data are never read, collected or transmitted. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected and why, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
