Hushomatic Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This privacy policy applies to the Hushomatic Android application (“Hushomatic”, “the app”) developed by Parishod. It explains what data the app accesses, how that data is used, and what choices you have.

2. Data we collect

Hushomatic does not currently collect any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any data on remote servers.
• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not have user accounts and we do not ask you to sign in.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

3. Data the app accesses on your device

To do its job, Hushomatic accesses certain information that remains on your device:

• Notifications. Hushomatic uses Android’s Notification Listener service to read notifications posted by other apps so it can show them in your local inbox. This requires you to grant the “Notification access” permission, which Android requires you to enable explicitly.
• Installed apps. The app queries the list of installed applications so notifications can be displayed alongside the correct app name and icon.
• Foreground service. Hushomatic may run a foreground service so that notification logging keeps working reliably while the app is in the background.
• Post notifications. The app may post its own notifications (for example, the foreground service notification required by Android).

Currently, all of this data is processed locally on your device and stored in the app’s private storage area. None of it is uploaded, transmitted off-device, or shared with Parishod or anyone else.

4. Data storage and retention

Hushomatic stores its data in the app’s private storage on your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing the app’s data through Android settings, or by uninstalling the app, which removes all data Hushomatic has stored.

5. Children’s privacy

Hushomatic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

Hushomatic does not collect any data today. If that ever changes — for example, if a future version introduces optional cloud sync, crash reporting, or other features that involve data leaving your device — this privacy policy will be updated before those features ship, and you will be informed in a clear and conspicuous way (for example, an in-app notice). We will also describe exactly what is collected, why, where it is sent, and how to opt out where applicable.
